if i were to do this again, i would sand blast, but this was a quick job and i didn't want to turn it into a science fair.
here are some pics of the rust converting primer i sprayed today, tomorrow gets some semi gloss black. not sure how well it shows but also welded on a passenger side bracket for duel exhaust.
