My 70 Dart

Well, hood is more messed up than you see in the last picture. So I'm sanding it until I get past the bad spots, then I'll respray vertically. My compressor has to continually run to keep up, so I'm going to let it cool off and hopefully get rid of some water in the line. I do have water traps, but when its in the hose itself...... Anywho, I've been wanting to do something about the carburetor. Would like to get rid of backfire when a firm mash on the peddle is done. There were no squirts of gas coming out so I figured the accelerator pump is shot. Also the majority of the screws were pretty loose. All the gaskets are dried out maybe? So right now its soaking in some carb cleaner, giving me chance to bs. LOL.
