After many years on board now, sometimes I get so comfortable around here I forget that the constant new influx of members are in the dark about the services I provide unless they happen to stumble upon somebody's show-off post.

So with everyone making plans for the upcoming cold weather -- and with my Busy Season Dance Card filling up rapidly already :-D -- today's as good a day as any to toss out a little wave and an invitation to the newbies. :-D

I do Mopar parts restorations, custom one-offs to match your ride, and offer high-end-style multi-color custom powder coating work you can be proud of AND afford.

My shop is in northwest Tennessee and I've been in business for myself since 2007. Since this site has been a part of my life since well before I hung my shingle (I've owned my Cuda for 22 years) ... and you've all been there for me forever ... FABO Gold members are entitled to a 5% labor discount. Our honored Veterans, active or retired Armed Forces and Law Enforcement officers receive a 12% labor discount.

I quote every job individually to be fair to everybody, and bill at $40 an hour across the board. My supplier offers 6,500 powder colors, textures and finishes, and even custom matching beyond that.

I spent a serious number of hours today FINALLY updating the shop's website. Though I still have a long way to go -- 15 months' worth of new work to add to the Gallery (mostly for FABO members) -- please take a few minutes to check out the new additions to the

To review all the new additions to the website [and hopefully oooh and aaahhh over all my hard work today lmao!], start here ... Phoenix Specialty Coatings ~ Exceptional Custom Powder Coating

I'm also happy to report that you can now order a maiden edition "Hand Job" from the Mistress of Metal if you don't plan to get any parts coated to earn a free one! They're only $8/bar with free domestic shipping to the continental USA. (If you're outside the US, send me a message or email with your Postal Code and I'll get back to you shortly.) See the "About Us" page up there for details and a paypal "Buy It Now" link. The next edition will feature more customized labels with the shop's logo and a little teaser blurb.

While I've got your attention, let me also invite FABO FaceBook users to the shop's FaceBook Fan Page! Almost 3,000 Fans and customers regularly enjoy the Powder **** found there. I'd be honored to have you on board too. :) Since it's so much faster and convenient to upload pictures there versus site updates (as you might've noticed lol), I tend to put the latest work there and on Instagram @CudaChick1968 first.

If you'd like a quote or to discuss ideas for your own ride, feel free to email me at PhoenixSpecialtyCoatings@yahoo.com.

Thanks for being here FABO! I might not always say it, but I never fail to value your time, your support, your input, and your business. As always, comments and questions are welcome and fully appreciated. < curtsey >

Listen up, newbies, you won't find anyone that will do the job with the craftsmanship that Leanna gives every piece that is sent to her.
She has done several items for me and I highly recommend her.

Hey Cal, James, Jim and Mike, thanks for the evaluations and encouragement, and for sharing the pictures. (Repeat customers since about 2009 and 2010 respectively, Mike and Cal have quite a few parts and memorable quotes on my website. :-D)

The main reason I wrote my post up there was because of a review of the website's statistics. For the first time since 2007 -- and surprisingly for the last 5 months in a row -- site visitors from GarageJournal have outnumbered FABO's surfers. I was pretty surprised and figured I'd better give ya'll some more attention. :-D

Thanks for the bumps guys! I appreciate all of you, and everything you do.

What the newbies need to know is that you do such a professional job. You are not a production line company. Every piece you touch, you put your heart and soul into and your finished product tells the tale. You did my valve covers a few years ago and they still look like new. They were screwed up when I sent them to you. I remember you asking like "what the heck did you spray on them". Well, I hought back and remembered a voltage regulator problem I had the year prior that had boiled acid on the drivers cover. You blasted it many times and then coated it with your magic dust and it still looks like new. Amazing. You are! I sent some headlight bezels for you to do and I'm sure they will be quality products like everything you do. I am glad to have you here on FABO and I am glad to consider you a friend. Oh by the way. I just got my calenders in for you and Billy. I will send them out in the next couple weeks. Good luck and take care. Keep up the good work! toolmanmike

Ditto! You hit the nail on the head toolmanmike.

Just a bump of an old thread to keep the FABO Fires burning. With nearly 11 years on this board, over 10,000 posts, a few thousand like-minded friends and a few hundred customers later, I know I've neglected this place too much the last couple of years due to the thing called life and the many wrenches it throws at us along the way.

I'm still here cranking it out albeit in a quieter manner than I usually am ... and honestly am a bit disturbed to see most of my threads here now have a new very low rating. If I upset someone personally, or failed to live up to expectations in some way, please be kind enough to let me know what I did wrong. FABO is and always has been my beloved Second Family and feeling like the black sheep in the corner is a new trend that I really don't like very much. :-(

Hey Leanna, I would like you to price two 68 hood inserts 340-S and 383-S. last time we talked I sent some pictures, but that has been a while. If you are interested let me know, I can also ship them to you if you prefer. Thanks

Hey Leanna I just gave this 5 stars. Dunno why some of your threads would have a lower rating??
Ive had to sell some stuff off that was destined for you to powder coat but like you mentioned wrenches get tossed our way. I shoulda been a Dodge ball player lol
All the best to you Billy n Ma

There is nobody in the Mopar hobby more dedicated to their craft that Leanna, folks! As said above, this is not some production line shop, where your parts just "get the job done" on the way through, Leanna personally does every aspect of your parts! And, without saying, they show the commitment and attention to detail on every part! Large and small, every inch of your parts are treated with the same care and detail as what she has shown above!

Just a pic of the dash frame she did for Nellas car!!! Yes, even the inside of the ashtray!! It's so nice in there, cigarette butts refuse to go in there, and roaches????....well, by invitation only!!! If you're thinking of having some powdercoating done, think Phoenix Specialty Coatings first, I guarentee no others will need come to mind!!!

There are many powder coaters out there, but none will take the time and effort to do work like Leanna.... :prayer:

She does an awesome job!!! :glasses7:

Thanks to all of you for the kind words and for sharing the photos. It means everything to know you're happy with the work.

BenDrinkin, I'd love to know whose intake you got. It's really rare that my stuff gets flipped.

Also still no idea who is peeved with me or why. I can't fix a problem if I don't know it exists, and Keyboard Commandos who hide behind a screen instead of sharing their source of misery are just sad in my opinion. 'Fess up or forever hold your Thread Star Ratings. :-D
