1965 Dodge Dart Charger

I bought my '65 (in 1992) from a guy who'd been a Chrysler dealer mechanic or parts counterman, I don't recall which, for many years. He included a bunch of spare parts, all NOS, and there were at least five different kinds of fuel filter: metal, plastic with metal cap, all plastic, and all with printing variations -- all under just two P/Ns, 2084 467 (kit) and 2525 254 (filter only). But at that time it didn't occur to me to photograph/catalogue them. :-(

Well, maybe next time!!

Today I stopped by at the paint man! They have made the last corrections on the body and will shoot the red primer on the spots and next week mask off the body and paint the green primer 22" inch high from bottom of body. Of cause they wanted me to be the one with a heat gun under the car after it is painted!!

They told me that the procedure after the body was dipped was to Owen bake the primer. That made the paint drops started to shrink! SO that will be my next job on the body.

I feel that this is getting out of control.....!! :banghead:

But when it's done and we can shoot the top paint it will be worth it! :glasses7:
