We only made the two passes. But I was wide awake after words!

Wide awake and ready for a change of pants. Looks fun if you can get it to hook up straight.

It actually has gone straight the other 10 passes or so we have on it. That was just a freak of nature kinda deal. The second pass it left straight and just kept going up and up til I lifted. We have started adding more power and that tends to bring out the little kinks that weren't there before.

Wow, cool. How are you going to combat that wheelie problem??

I am going to do a couple of things. I am going to build a weight bar that we can add or remove weight (should be all I have to do). Going to wire in a manual over ride for the electric shifter, and also set it up to where I can pull timing out when I release the trans brake. I will only pull timing until I know we have everything worked out and it doesn't need it anymore.

Yea, it looks like the Kennedale track has some teeth on the starting line.

Yeah it is. I talked to a guy that has been running the Nostalgia jr fuel cars for years and he told me its not a matter of want with these things you have to run them. So I will be building a set over the winter.

Geezus...I hit about a 7 on the pucker factor just watching that video. I have some friends that take their Mustangs out there to Kennedale--I might have to forward this video to them

good thing its chevy powered. Might have twisted it into a pretzel with some mopar power.. :D

Believe it or not it really didn't seem that bad from where I was. Kinda all went in slow motion. I used to be stationed at Schofield out there. Thanks for serving.:prayer: You from out here?
