Visual Aid For Figuring Custom Pistons??

let me rephrase. im looking for an adjustable online model that would (to scale) be able to adjust variables like rod length, compression height, bore, etc.

you would increase stroke and it would move the piston higher in the hole. that make more sense?

I don't think that what you are looking for can be represented by a visual model. There is too much arbitrary information involved. Plus, to create something that accurately represented the parts and their dynamic function together would be a huge technological undertaking. A comptuer screen has limited resolution and would really not be fine enough to show small numerical changes.

If you are trying to figure out a combination, the only way to do it correctly is to 'do the math' until you arrive at whatever you're trying to accomplish. Besides, when you put the actual engine together, you would be verifying things by numbers anyway, not visually. This is especially true when you're dealing with minute tolerances that can go to the .0000" range.

You can easily find cubic inch calculators, dynamic compression ratio calculators, etc. online. They will spit out a number based on the specs you put it to the fields. I use them all the time. You just need to know what your specs are and enter them as accurately as possible to get the clearest answer.
