Building a replica of the '78 W150 I used to have. Here's everything in the mockup stage right now. Notice where I moved the transfer case, now it is more like the real thing, and doesn't hang down so far.

Yes, a Lil Red Express kit, the box is in the pix. The kit comes as a 2 wheel drive version with a big block. (they say it's a 360 but it's not)
I used the 340 from the AMT 1971 Duster kit. The transmission, transfer case, and front axle/springs came from BNL Resins, as did the wheels. I have a wired distributor I'll be installing after I get the engine painted. I still have a lot of work to do on this one.
 
I think you can also get a resin SBM.

IIRC that Duster kit is about the only place to get one in styrene.

I need one for my 318 Satellite replica, if anyone has one they don't want.

I also seem to recall a long bed sweptline 4WD model...with an interesting topper.

May have come with dirt bikes.

Me too.

I love building models of real cars.

Fortunately I found a resin flat hood for my 73 Satellite (from the Daisy Duke kit).

I did an 86 T top Daytona back in the 90's.
That was REAL fun, making the plastic trim parts that cover where the sedan style door pillars got cut.

I had a 73 Duster, painted and detailed like mine- complete with "factory" Demon hood made from a 64 SS scoop.

I was also working on two different 70 Super Bees- one "as found" with primer, rust, and peeling vinyl top, and another "restored".

I started modifying a 66 Charger into a 67 Coronet, before the correct model came out. I actually did a decent job on the rear wheel sheet metal, and grafting on a 67 GTX roof. was working on the tail lights when the 67 Coronet R/T came out. Actually, I like my grille better :)
 
I'd love to find this truck in a model. Its not been made in a few years from the days of AMT-Ertl.....

I wonder if Round 2 plans to bring it back from the vaults.....
