I run a stock MP distributer and just had it recurved with heavier springs. I had an eratic idle problem and found the light springs that came in it were advancing the timing at idle. I also switched from a 650DP to a 750DP and added a Proform main body and picked up ET and that is on a little 340.

I had issues with that too. It surged at idle if the idel wwas set too low. It ended up beign an issue with the dist timing. It also advanced way too fast for the street. I had the vac disconected. Much happier with my pro billet.

I run a 950 proform. I've had great luck with it.
