Discount Tire just lost my business

My Discount Tire Story-

About a month ago I ran into a small ditch that a construction company created and did not cone off properly. (this is in my SAAB daily driver) The small ditch ended up popping both tires on the passenger side.

I had the car towed to a local garage who after looking at the car decided there was no suspension damage and that just the tires were blown. (of course they dont do tires there)

I had the car towed again to Discount. After about a week they finally called me stating that they had broken three lug bolts off of the front and two in the rear. Discount told me that they were able to get the tires on though of course so they were ready to settle up but i would need to get the car towed to have the hubs replaced.

Discount was unwilling to pay for the repairs. They gave me $100 off the total but I had to spend another 200 on the hubs and bolts.

I understand that the bolts' integrity could have been damaged in the "crash" but what I dont understand is why they didn't stop after breaking the first bolt.
