Okay...I dropped the ball and trusted him by sending the funds anyway. Maybe I'm dumb or just to honest and trust worthy. But yes, it did happen. I'm not starting threads to sh*t people, trust me.

I talked to another member who said he was going to receive a cam from him before taking any funds, as far as I know he hasn't seen it yet.

LONGARM, do you need any more evidence??? This thread isn't about a cam really, it's the betrayal of trust.

I'm sending the cam to DusterKrazy on Monday. I say why wait go ahead and rat the guy out. If he's been on line he knows what people are saying. I have been delayed shipping parts before and the one thing I made sure of was communication about what was going on. People don't get upset when you treat them right. This to me is a rip off, plain and simple.

This is more than nice of you, since it's about exactly what I need for the car it's going in, I'd gladly buy it outright. Just say the word. Good vibes brother...

Thanks pro tech, earthmover and everyone else for being understanding.

If the guy does send the cam, I'd be surprised. After two private messages and seeing that he has been on here everyday. I seriously give up and wash my hands of the deal.

FABO
I think it has been debated enough, lets see how it flushes out. If Schluney feels he has been wronged then he has a forum to use to defend himself. So far no one has seen any defense. Schluney we're waiting for you to make it right. Duster, maybe PM him this forum link if you have not already done so and lets see if he wants to right the wrong for one last chance. Then he goes on the Sh*t List. Humiliation is a powerful tool. Also rat him out on Moparts.

I always thought he was a really stand up guy. Lets see what has happened before we get out the torches and pitchforks. Sometimes life can be a beeotch.

Thanks guys. I'd like to think that everyone is a stand up person but his actions are speaking otherwise. After sending some pm's with no reply and no communication or tracking info, etc, I have simply given up. The point of the thread was to make sure no one got taken, not to collect off people or gain sympathy.

This is an open forum and everyone has the right to defend their self. The lack of communication after 18 or so days bothers me worse than the slow shipping ever did. If the cam shows up, I will be more than shocked. Truthfully, I am not looking for it anytime soon.

I gave him the choice in my last pm of sending me money back or sending the camshaft and there has been no reply back to that whatsoever. This is just unacceptable.

I am sorry but I'm just to caring to see anyone get taken. I'm trying to be the bigger man and walk away from this or wash my hands altogether. I will never know how it feels to rip anyone off because I've never done it and never intend to. My name is worth far more than any amount of money that I will sell anything for.

Mods, you can lock this up anytime and if there is anymore debate it can happen through my pm's. I'd never drag anyone's name through the mud for the hell of it but this thread can just go away. He can make it right if he chooses to do so. I'm done.

I hope this situation gets fixed soon. if not, I have a message for this seller and other sellers scaming buyers, KARMA IS A ***** AND YOUR DAY OF RECKONING WILL COME!
We know you are reading this thread. So, do the right thing and square up.

Thread closed per your request.

It looks to me like you payed with paypal.........Why don't you open a claim?

Thank You FABO Moderator and senior members for helping to resolve this issue.

I shipped 4 cams this week. I ask each person to wait until they received the cam and make sure they are comfortable before paying anything. I have been on the road for the past two week and absolutely dropped the ball on getting these out on time. I refunded this particular member his 50.00 and told him to keep the cam and lifter. To be fair, I will allow all four other members to keep their cams as well. I ask this member not to pay until be received and inspected the cam but he insisted on paying immediately. This is my fault as I was just trying to help some folks out by instead of sending parts to garbage. Lesson learned.

The upset member who started this thread now has a tracking number for parts shipped on Dec. 10 2013, A full refund in his Paypal account, Free Parts and my sincere apology for slow to ship. I found out about this thread tonight afterwork when I opened a PM from a senior FABO member who brought this to my attention.

I encourage people to not jump to conclusions based on a limited set of facts. I also would encourage people to utilize the issue resolution process within the forum before resorting such tactics. I have certainly learned a lot from this site, purchased and sold items on the site and consider FABO a valuable resource for any Mopar enthusiast.

Being called a scumbag, thief, rip off artist ect....not so fun.

Steven, this is a simple case of miscommunication. Keep in mind that I'd never drag anyone's name through the mud for the hell of it. It is not the classy thing to do.

Awesome. Glad I didn't pile on. I knew you were ok.

I am glad I waited before commenting in this thread, as tempting as it can be sometimes. These situations can be misleading. I'm very happy everything worked out.

This be why a min.. Time should be allowed before threads like this make it to the forum. A month maybe? This time of year anyhthing can take forever to ship. Get left at a dock somewhere what ever it may be.

Some time a delay is not a sellers fault, but comunication is important.
Right now I am waiting on two sets of headers, from Calf. The shipper did the shipping label on 12-9-13, and sent me the tracking number. He may not have been able to get them to the UPS store for a couple of days (no problem), but the tracking info shows the were dropped of at the UPS store at 12:42 pm on 12-11-13. As of right now (7:00 am 12-13-13) the tracking info says that's where they still are, and no estimated time of delivery, to me in Florida. None of this is the sellers fault.

PS: Whenever I sell/ship anything, I give the buyer my e-mail addy, home addy, and phone number. I like to get the buyers phone number, also. That way if I do not have computer access for whatever reason, we can still comunicate.

Great Feedback Charlie-

Thanks for the nice comments from members recently. This was a learning opportunity for me in terms of clear communication and prompt attention to commitments. Its nice to see a group that can take these opportunities to share learnings so that we can avoid future issues. Duster and I are good now and back on speaking terms :) Issue resolved.

Thanks, FABO !

We have to trust our Mopar brothers and sisters. We are a limited breed. When a perceived mistrust happens we all tend to get out feelings hurt. I'm glad this all worked out. I'm proud to be a part of this site. Communication is the key to happy customer service. Keep it up FABO!!!
