Family Fish on its 3rd life: 1967 F/B Resto
Not a whole lot of action this week. Timing cover is cleaning up nice. I ordered the seals for the steering box so I can clean it up and repack the grease. My buddy had a test panel sprayed out with the graphite color I was looking at for the engine. It is so hard to photograph color, especially these pearl/color shift/metallics. but fwiw here is a shot of the graphite in the sun, and a pic of it by the car color (in the garage, florescent light).
Also determined the correct double roller timing set is on the motor (yeah !) but lacks a tensioner, ordered a mopar performance one from ebay, should be here when I get back from a quick new years trip.
I made a rookie mistake :banghead: while upgrading to 73 up suspension, and did not acquire a 73 up center link, so I have a new style pitman and idler, but I cannot finish the front end until I find the "straight" style steering link to use them with.
Thanks for checking in
