I drilled the spot welds on the rear valence because it was pretty rusty. I couldn't believe how many spot welds there were!
Both trunk extensions are rusty, but so are both quarters. I am going to cut out the trunk extensions, and since I don't have rust free ones, I'll just be welding in flat stock. I don't need the dips and ridges the factory ones have, I don't plan on having people looking inside the trunk.
I also had to do some repair work to the spring hanger, as it was looking a little scary. I figured I'd do that before cutting the trunk apart. That's just brown primer.
It's rough in spots, but there aren't any rust free Cuda's in my area to replace it. And even when they pop up, they're way overpriced. So, I'll work with what I have.
