just find out which service is better in your area. You can get different phones from Straight Talk that run off of either Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and maybe others. The phones that run off CDMA are the ones that run off Verizon and provide the same service but about half the price. I just made the swap myself after several years with Verizon. I use a flip phone because of my work. I tried a smart phone but it didn't work for me running doziers and hoes. My gf got a Samsung smart phone from straight talk. Seems to be working out fine.
