I've been planning to use the MR Gasket 1121G thin head gaskets. Has there been any issues with them sealing ? Would you advise some gasket HiTac or Copper coat ? sure don't need gasket problems. Was hoping to bump up compression a tad.

Been driving daily with them on my slug....no problems. No dealer or nothing....sealer ...stupid tablet..

The ultimate gaskets for sealing and durability are the Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Stainless Steel) available in .027, .030, .035, .040, .045, .051 all cut to proper bore size best price from FBO, not $45 a pair but you get what you pay for... MADE IN USA.
When your selecting your head gaskets make sure you have correct head to piston/piston to valve clearance, using a thin gasket with a zero deck can cause a train wreck. If you don't know what those numbers need to be then pick up the phone.

Got about 3 or 4 sets in use...never had a problem with them...I think for the price they are the ULTIMATE head gasket....

one motor has about 11 to 1 compression and has been together for 6 or 7 years now

another has about 12 to compression....and has been together for 4 yrs...
