1968 Barracuda Notch - Plano, TX

Very cool. I am in frisco. I didnt read through the whole thread. What EFI controller are you using? If you need help with tuning let me know. I have a shop in Garland and all we do is EFI tuning. What intake is that?

Where in Frisco? I am in Plano at Hedgcoxe and Custer. My car is at a restoration shop in Wylie getting the body and paint done. Intake was made by Weiand back in '70-'71 for Mopar and sold over the counter as part # P3690982. This intake was made specifically for Super Stock racing.

Some regard this as the best available cast six pack intake ever made, here is a quote discussing some of its shortcomings:
http://victorylibrary.com/mopar/weiand-c.htm said
"The very low mixture velocity in the plenum will cause fuel to “drop out” of suspension, form large droplets, and collect on the plenum floor. This leads to poor idle quality, plug fouling and irregular mixture distribution between cylinders."

Site details how to go about modifying the intake to help alleviate the fuel puddling problems, I also have some of this same information in my old Mopar engine manual. Guessing that will not be an issue with EFI. I have not purchased the EFI controller as of yet (BSEG), but was planning on the FAST XFI 2.0 system. What is the name of the shop in Garland? Where is it? Do you have a chassis dyno?
