That shifter is for a dual cable 65 904 and will not work with a 66-up 904 as is. There is a conversion kit available from Imperial Services to use the 65 shifter with the later 904. It includes a special cable and parts to modify the valve body. I am doing the same thing to my 65 Dart using a 340 & 904. Otherwise an aftermarket shifter will be your best choice.
