69 CUDA 440 M-CODE coupe... extremely rare #'s matching engine - $69995

C01 scheduled build Dec 1, 1968. The cars show A57 on the tag because that was the model they started with (to get the stripes, scoops, black grilles, etc.) but they stuck the 440 in. Note the M code in the 5th digit. Don't remember for sure but E63 is probably the 440 engine.

There used to be a registry of A56 A57 and A13 cars but it hasn't been up for awhile. (I registered two A56 340 cars on there)

Anyway, one thing I noticed was the 440 cars were ONLY built on 1 of 3 days. They must have run them off in groups because all the 440 cars registered had one of the 3 dates. (I'd assume the 440 Darts were probably done that way also) The build dates were spaced a couple months apart and not 3 consecutive days. This car was in the first build group so technically the recall wheels would not have been available because they were recalled by the build date. But, still very nice.

All 440 cars had buckets/consoles and automatics on the floor and drum brakes and manual steering only.

GLWS, coupes are rare.

E63 is the call out for a 383. All 440 M code cars in 1969 started as 383 cars this includes the 440 6 PAC & 6 Barrel Road Runner and Super Bees.
