Gray plaid. TTBOMK The houndstooth and herringbone patterns and the tan plaid weren't yet in use in '65. I put a tan plaid mat in my (metallic tan) '65 and it looked great, but I knew it was not original -- the original grey plaid mat came out of that car in about 3 pieces.
