Traffic Court WTD? Updated post #35

Because they spend 8-10 hours a day driving. To me that is an expert. When do you ever hear of a speeding cop in the left lane having an accident.

I drive 6 hours a day. I've driven for 30 years, with only three tickets, and not accidents. I rarely speed, if at all. As for cops being expert drivers, I have seen almost as many wrecks involving cruisers as I have regular cars. Yes, most are due to excessive speed.

We had a young cop that was 23 miles away when a high speed chase started (Another sore subject with me.) He came busting through back roads using his expert driving, flew through a curve and slammed a tree. Good thing a mini van was not coming around the curve at the same time. They tried to make him a saint, saying he was killed in the line of duty. He was not even in on the chase, nor was he ever called to be in one the chase. He was just looking for some action.

In another incident a cop running 80 into town T-Boned a reconstructed Mustang, broke it into, and spilled a woman and her three kids out on the highway dead. Cop was fully exonerated, that would not have been the case for average Joe.
