Oil tem/pressure install

A customer wanted a full compliment of guages in his race car,so I installed them. next race he proceeded to blow the engine, I ask him what the guages read before it blew, he said ZERO, why didnt you stop? I asked, he said "I thought the Guages were broken" True Story.
