Distributor question. Swapping out the 318 for TBI 360
Look in the TBI distributor. I don't remember when the changes were made.
I believe TBI used a reluctor type trigger like the older cars but NO mechanical or vacuum advance, IE it was locked, and advance handled by the computer
I believe all multiport have crank triggered ignition, and that the distributor in those was a "half moon" deal which acted as a crank sensor. If memory serves, those particular ones would have three wires, not two
