That's a good distributor for racing. Just so you know, you must set timing at 'full advance'. It advances the timing too quick to set it using initial. So, pick an rpm that will be your benchmark for 'full'. 2500 or 3000 rpm will be good. 2000 rpm would be OK too. Try a 'full' advance between 32 and 36 degrees and work from there.

You may notice a very slight increase in advance from 2000 rpm on up. This is why it is good for high rpm power. It is also why you have pick an rpm as a benchmark for setting thr 'full' advance.
