The blower motor in my 68 Cuda runs slow and is making noise like the bearings (or bushings, whatever it has) are dry and I was planning on just pulling it apart and seeing if I could lube it up but I had to order some stuff for the wife's POS Pontiac from Rockauto and thought what the heck I'd look and see if they show a new blower motor for a 68 Cuda. Well they did, but there was no picture with it. Price was real good so I ordered it and it's real close to the same physical size but has the wires coming out of the side whereas mine has the wires routed internally. Only way to use it would be to drill holes in the firewall which I won't do. It also has studs sticking out the back which mine doesn't. I wonder if this motor is for A/C equipped cars? Says it's not. Does anyone recognize it by this picture I found online?

Thanks for the help

Since your car has damper plate around the motor and that plate sits about middle of the motor, The motor shown might work fine. The wiring would be inside at least.

I don't recognize it as an ac one but I do believe
I still have a good non ac one I took out of mine. If you need it I will dig it

The picture I provided isn't the actual one they sent. It's one that's real close that they showed on their website. The one they sent has the wires coming out way at the back end. No way they'd go under the mounting plate. Sorry, I should have mentioned that about the picture. Thanks for the input

Thanks Carl (correct me if I'm not remembering your name correctly). Just had hernia surgery so it'll be 3-4 weeks before I can get mine out. As soon as I can I'll pull it out first and have a look at it before you go through digging yours out. If I can't do anything with mine I'll give you a call.

Thanks, Tracy
