Fisher I agree, the thought of running on a two barrel and then having four more available just sound cool. I would assume mileage would be better than with a single four IF I was able to tune/adjust them correctly. Cost, like you said, is way above a single four setup with e carbs, linkage, air cleaner assembly, etc. I've also heard numerous times a single four setup will outrun the six pack everything else being equal? I guess the cool thing is just the visual effect and to be able to say you have one. Question though, if a single four is better at the track, why were the six pack cars able to keep up with the hemisphere, but beat the 440 4 barrels.
