I used to have a /6 Dart 904. With over 225k on the odometer, it ran well with no smoke from the exhaust. After tweaking the carb a bit, I was able to coax over 27 mpg out of it. IIRC the /6 weighs about 70 lbs less than the 273. Surprisingly, there are cams, intakes, headers, and some dress-up items for the leaning tower of power.
IMHO, there's room in the hobby for /6, SB, BB, and Hemi. Each has its advantages and drawbacks. I like the /6 for its durability and the SB for canyon carving power.
Thought Sssnake might enjoy this little sewing machine making some power.
