Gas Tank/sump - will it pass tech?

LEGAL, yes. I even said so. But safe? It's simply too close to te graound in the event of an axle break, flat tire(s), or wheelstand. As I said, just because it's TECHNICALLY legal, doesn't mean it should be used.......
