275/35-18 Front Fitment Question - Attn 72BB and GDart
Very nice work! Only a purist would notice it, and only if they were looking for it.
The barracuda openings are better at the top, but narrow at the bottom. Similar to the Duster actually, wheel openings are more square. I know I have very little room with my 275/35/18's in the front on my Duster, if I ran 255/40/18's I would probably have had to do some work to the front corner as well. As it is, I just used the lower fender brace to push the corner out as far as it would go.
The Darts have less room at the top of the arch, but a much wider lower opening.
Here are the 275/35/18's on the front of my Duster. I've lowered it a bit more in the front since the bottom picture. It looks like a ton of room to the bottom front corner, but it barely clears when the wheels are turned.
