No answer because he is probably busy counting money and watching the car being loaded. Plus he probably has no less than thirty emails about a 69 GTS. Hopefully mine was the last one and on top, should be the first one he opens.:D

Let some of us at least enjoy getting our hands on a good Dart before you corner the whole market. LOL:cheese:

Not much help, but at least a reply:

"Thank you for you interest in the Dart. We are trying to contact as many as possible but we have been overwhelmed with responses.
A little history..
The car was purchased in late ’69 in San Jose by our Sister-in-Law just before her and my brother were married. Before she took delivery she asked that the stripe on the back be replaced because it had bubbled. She brought it back twice for the same problem. After the last time the dealer finally removed the decal all together and had the stripe painted on.
The car was driven until ’77 or ’78 when there was a problem with the engine and was parked in their garage for the next 30 years. At this point they don’t even remember what the problem was.
About two years ago we trailered the car to our house, then to the JC for a project at the college. It was partially disassembled and the engine pulled. Unfortunatly the engine was totally seized and in very bad shape. The pistons were not usable at all. We still have the original block and heads, but will need to be re machined.
The car was mostly reassembled and moved back to us and has been in our garage since. The engine is still completely apart and the vinyl top has been removed as it was badly deteriorated.
The car is completely original and has not been modified in any way.
The 360 engine was being rebuilt to be mounted in the car and is still at the JC.
Our Brother and his Wife have since retired and moved to the Oregon coast and do not have a place to store it. They still have the pink slip in their possession and we have asked them to send it to us.

Thank you for you patience."

That car will have a deposit and be picked up before the end of the week, if my crystal ball still functions well.

Well I guess it was inevitable, with all the interest ,he just had to do it, he raised the price to $7500.

Can't blame them for that. Being listed here I'm sure they had no less than fifty email responses. If it was closer and not 8 hrs away I'd be more interested, but it looks like it could have rust under the vinyl top what car doesn't and I haven't seen any pictures of the carb, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner and all the other misc little **** that I would want to have if buying that car.

Still a bitchen little car though!
