I'm sure that this has already been covered, but a quick search using the forums search function didn't bring up anything specific.

Now, we're talking about this probably months before I actually plan on doing it (unless I come into some money lol) but I would like to replace the 2 barrel carter carb I have on my 318 to a 4 barrel. I know I'm going to have to find myself a new intake, but what else do I have to consider? I have heard that the kickdown (or throttle pressure linkage) will not work. I have also heard that there is a conversion bracket for it. What else do I need for a four barrel conversion?

From your signature and text I'm assuming it is a 1973 Dart Sport with a auto trans. Lets say you get and Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. I dont think it will be to much trouble to get your linkage to work. I've gone from /6 to v8, from Edelbrock to Holley using the same throttle linkage. You need new gaskets and depending on what carb you get you might need to make or buy a bracket. No big thing though. I might be vague here, but there is not to much info in your text, what Im trying to get across is that it is not such a hard task to get it done :)
