Does anyone have a way to use a gm sending unit , in a fuel cell, with a factory mopar gauge ? :sad1:

Nope. GM are opposite resistance change from Mopar

Ford and Mopar both got to lower readings when going towards full

GM goes towards a higher resistance

Mouse,

With a small software change, the gauge calibrator circuit should do it. This is only an option if you work with electronics. I can send a chip if you build the circuit.

Here is schematic.
brother . I appreciate your response but I'm talking about a 70 pro street dart. the biggest electronics in it will be the stereo. unless this is april fools .... took me a min. thanks

Let me ask you this.........why do you want to use a GM sender?

No April fools joke. I have been working with electronics since before the 70's. I am with 67Dart273, use Mopar sender. Or reverse sender internal connections and adjust resistor values on GM sender.

I had planned on doing a custom dash . so I got a fuel cell with a gm sending unit because most aftermarket gauges are set for gm. anyway my plans changed and it looks like I'll be getting a mopar sending unit.

Ah, I did. That changes everything. But some gauges, Autometer, etc, can be selected as to what you use. So you want to coordinate what you order.
