Barracuda Formula S 383 dipstick tube

Is there a special dipstick tube for a 383 in a 68 Barracuda Formula S?

I was looking at mine the other day and noticed the tab to bolt the tube to motor mount looks completely wrong, especially since it's not attached to anything! Also looks like it has some "adjusted" bends in it to clear steering box and exhaust manifold. K-frame is the original one for 67-69 A-body 383's with driver side motor mount way out front and high.

Any info or pics would be greatly appreciated.
