Louis do you have any pics on where your front bars come thru the fire wall and tie into cage. We are going to do ours just like yours. Did u ask NHRA about removable back brace bar. We asked our Nhra chassis cert inspector. He told us swing out side bars were ok but not removable back brace.

No I don't but can take some.

The top of the tube is just about level with the bottom of the dash as it goes through the firewall.

I am pretty sure it is legal to have the removable brace behind the seat. Alstonchassisworks.com sells them as such. I am sure it is legal, it is more than likely just your tech inspector at the track. If they get a hair up there wazooooo they can call out for anything and not let you run. If it is a problem I will just pop out the pins and put some 1/2" Grade 8 Bolts in it then they can cry all they want but it is legal! :banghead:
