I am trying to clean up the engine compartment on my 1975 Dart. My EGR time delay relay and electronic speed switch are melted. Do I need them? I am soon putting on an Offenhauser intake and a holley four barrel.
 
Anything else that I can pitch? What about the charcoal canister?
 
Do you have "smog" inspections in your state? Keep the tank vent line open, and plumb it "up high" so it does not siphon, otherwise, yes
 
A wiring diagram. I did it on my 70, but can't remember, that was too long ago. Still have it running with a mallory 7 system. Just go on line and get mallory or msd instructions. They show the bypasses.
