Another age old question!

Might as well go with a SFI approved unit Craig. Most aftermarket balancers are for the later style timing cover that's marked on the drivers side. Not sure if that's a issue in your case?

I've never heard anything bad about the Summit units, and the're very reasonable in price. The pulley mounting area is also recessed so it looks like it would work with a stock pulley set.....But I can't confirm that.

The Pioneer brand is also reasonable, but I've never heard any feedback on those.


Just for informational purposes, to achieve a SFI 18.1 rating.....It has to spin between 12,500 & 13,500 rpm's for 1hr.
