1957 Plymouth Plaza Resurrection/Resto Mod

Just picked up this 1957 Plymouth Plaza, and figured I should start a build thread on it. The car came out of Yuma Arizona. It has been sitting in the desert since 1976 or 1977, going by the license plate. It was one of about 300 cars in the yard. These were all cars that were picked up off the roads, due to either breaking down, car accidents, flat tires, you name it. They were towed to this yard and were never claimed. Over 45 years! There were tons of interesting cars, but this one got my eye. The car is amazingly straight. And virtually rust free! Besides a small spot on the drivers side rocker, and the floors, she's solid as a rock. Still wears its original paint. Well most of it anyway lol. The car is 100% complete, down to the bumper jack and hub caps. The motor isn't locked up and is full of oil and the trans is still full of fluid. I plan on trying to fire it up and see if the trans operates, but they will be sold off.

Plans are as follows. Not going to paint the car as of yet. Maybe down the road but right now I am kinda digging the patina. I will probably paint the roof and engine compartment tho. I have a 1999 Dakota R/T donor truck. I plan on doing the same type of swap with this car, as I did with my swinger. Complete drivetrain swap, HVAC swap, with gauges and all. Front disc brake install. Explorer rear axle. Suspension rebuild, and a complete interior redo. Then just drive the wheels off it!! Here are some pictures of what I am working with. Feedback is always welcome!
