The Scariest 'Factory Stocker'

I had a '69 Coronet R/T with a 440, hemi 4 speed, 3:54 Dana. It had no power steering and manual 11'' drum brakes. All stock except for headers and electronic ignition.
It shifted stiff, the clutch was stiff, steering was hard, and braking? You had to really plan in advance i will tell you.
Parallel parking was a ***** to put it mildly, and you had to drive it like you meant it or it wasn't fun or easy to drive......and man did that car go! I could easily boil the tires off.
Not the kind of car that an old lady could drive easily for sure.
You could get yourself in a lot of trouble really fast if you weren't paying attention.
Gawd i loved that car and wish i had it back!
I'll bet the 'Cuda was worse because it was so nose heavy with the 440 and all.
No wonder why they called them muscle cars, you had to use every muscle in your body just to drive them!
