1973 Dodge Dart Sport

I have decided to put my dart up for sale. I may be interested in a partial trade for a 4x4 truck. I hate to sell it but I don't have the time or money to play with it. It is a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport. The previous owners did a nice restoration (not showroom but nice) and dropped a 440 in it and drag raced it. As a result it has the frame bars installed underneath. I forget what they are called. The fenders were cut out for fender headers. The car comes with a set of four mag five rims with old tires on them. It also comes with a pair of Mickey Thompson racing slicks on aluminum racing rims. The car comes with a roll cage and a large fuel cell custom installed in the trunk. The interior is mostly still all there. the only things that are missing are the dash pad and the original bucket seats. This car is not perfect, but it is pretty solid. There are only two small rust areas that need fixed. One on the lower part of the drivers door skin and one on the rear of the car above the drivers side tail light.

The car currently has a 318 motor with a 904 automatic 3spd floor shifter. The motor is stamped 1969. I do not know what the motor and tranny came out of. All lights and trim pieces are there. I have had my local mechanic do a lot of work to it to bring it back to daily driver condition. (he's a big mopar guy) Has all new brakes front, back and lines are all new. had motor converted to electronic ignition. new battery. had the wire harness in the engine bay re-done. New original (old stock) spark plug wires. New starter. Has a new wire harness under the dash. Has lots of other new stuff that I can't think of right now lol.

The car needs a exhaust system installed. Currently has a pair of cherry bombs on it. the transmission needs to be serviced. It does not want to shift into park (something is sticking, binding in the tranny). The car does run and drive. This car needs very little to be a nice daily driver if so wanted.

I am asking $5,900 for the Dart. I might be interested in a partial trade for a 4x4 truck, but I am mainly looking for cash.
