Building the 318/390 stroker

I wouldn't run a thmpr in that engine. I'd go with something more along the lines of the big extreme energy HR cam or something like that if you want an hydraulic roller engine.

Make sure the springs that come on the head are suitable. Look at pep boys for a 25% off coupon code then have summit match it if you want to buy from them or buying a bunch of stuff at once.

Run an ede air gap or a victor 340 with a 1" spacer. The action plus is not a good choice IMO. I'm not a fan of the m1 intakes.

The 750 will work if you have it, it will likely will want more carb.

Don't spend money on titanium retainers. A good steel retainer is fine and preferably a 10*

x3....and Yes, the 750dp will work, but you might be leaving some power on the table...might being the operative word...hard to say. My 410 has a 750dp on it and does just fine...but more than a few folks have told me that my car appears to be the exception to the rule, so take what you want from that.

For a 50/50 street/strip car I would go with the Airgap. I have had both the Victor and the Airgap on my stroker, the Airgap with a 1/2" open wood spacer + a 1" tapered spacer had the best throttle response and best torque (better for street driving). My car is more like 90/10 Race/street, so I currently run a Victor intake.
