valves ticking i think

I do not understand-- you asked for advice & then ignore it. you have a slant 6 with mechanical lifters they need periodic adjustment-- you have the engine apart ready for adjustment --you have been given good advice & the procedures to start making this engine perform better,
dump your seafoam in & listen the valves clatter.
