1966 Barracuda Formula S
This is a triple-red 1966 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S survivor with 77K original miles. Always garaged and loved, no winters, 2nd owner for over 25 years with original owner history. This car has unfaded 100% original paint with no bodywork or accidents EVER. Interior including upholstery is original except carpet. Floors like new with original paint. Bumpers are re-chromed. Engine and transmission are original, original open 3.23 ratio 7-1/4 inch rear was replaced with an A-body 8-3/4 inch rear with sure-grip (also 3.23 ratio). Engine was repainted in the original color with new external gaskets; timing chain replaced with Cloyes double roller but engine has never been opened. Brakes are 10 inch drums. Front end was completely rebuilt with USA Moog components. Very nicely equipped with performance options including high performance 273 V8 (235 HP), 4-speed, fast manual steering (16:1 ratio), HD suspension with front swaybar, and tachometer (inaccurate). Currently installed are Cragar Super Stock wheels and a factory 1965 Hurst shifter but the original mint 14-inch steel wheels with mag covers and Inland reverse-lockout shifter are included.
