NSS Harness

NAPA has them new, looks just like the OEM.
A little pricey, paid 27 bucks for mine. Worth it if your looking for a good fit.
I looked mine up online & gave the part number to the counterman.
Echlin part #EC187.

Is this what you're looking for! $13 shipped!! PM me if you're interested, Geof

There is a pipe thread hole that the neutral safety switch screws into on the trans, then the switch screws into that and the switch has the prongs for the wiring connector.

Thank you for replying, but i have that side. I meant to question the other end of the harness for the wiring side. I apologize i should have worded better. But i just pulled my harness out and it has the brown wire with yellow tracer (middle wire) cut and ran to starter relay. The other to are purple and white. If i could find the plug to hook the NSS harness into (non trans side) i could get that all fixed. Or worst case cut the purple and white wires to somewhere else and get the back up lights working. My harness look exactly like the picture Cosgig posted. Same color wires, 3 prong plug in (male) for wiring harness or (non trans side) This is the side i can not find.

nk you!!

Coming off of the connector:

Black wire (circuit B1): Goes to a two prong connector and then the other side of the connector goes to the "w" terminal of the bulkhead.

Brown wire with yellow tracer (circuit S4): goes to bottom terminal on starter relay.

Black wire with tracer (circuit B2) goes to the two prong connector terminal "C" on the bulkhead, and the other side of the connector goes to terminal "Z" of the bulkhead.

Where the wires go varies from year to year. The reverse lamp switch was originally inside the cabin. The switch on the trans had only 1 wire / one function, neutral safety. That was a brown wire routed continuously from the starter relay.
In 1969 model the reverse lamp switch was moved to the trans mounted dual function switch. The routing of the brown NSS wire ramained unchanged. Since the reverse lamp wires needed to go out of the cabin they simply put these 2 wires in a couple of the previously unused ports of the bulk head connector.
So at the bulkhead connector, far right member is mostly wiper motor connections. 2 additional wires found there that don't go to wiper motor are very likely reverse lamp wires.

I looked up the info that I posted from the 72 Dodge service manual wiring diagrams.

A picture of the mysterious 3 prong plug might help.

sorry, my computer has not been able to let me upload photos for some reason. I really want to say thanks to everyone for the help. My harness is the exact same as the picture "Cosgig" posted above. i have finally tracked down where i need to splice my wires into and have yet to do that because my bulk head is missing the one wire i needed to splice into and the top right "W" on the a/c or wiper motor bulk head is missing and just have to figure out what type of connector i need to inster my wire there. thank you all.!

My local NAPA store had the correct Packard terminals for the bulk head connectors.
