Thanks Karl, not sure if any of my buddies have a TIG, also no donor intake for the bosses. I thought it would be worth a try with some "adapter" plate.

Maybe dbl nutting the plate down on the back carb studs to help "firm" it up??

We have a local welding shop that just specializes in welding.

There is also a guy that has a business going out of his house that has good capability.

My oldest son is taking a TIG class this summer in Community College.
