What cam are you running?

I definitely want an 8.75 rear I just have to find one that hasn't been laying around in new england lol! I went to my machinist today and he suggested that I call up Isky (the guy that started the company over 60 years ago is still there!) He also said all cams are nitride hardened (the black color on the cam) so it's not only a Comp thing and that I should go with a 225° to
230° duration at .50 and the highest lift the duration will allow. I also learned that its the duration (and overlap) that affects idle quality and not the lift. I'm still taking everyone's suggestions and informantion

I dont know of anyone who runs an isky but yea they used to get with it back in the day. And i agree with that duration and lift specs for a fun street car, maybe a little high for a daily but im sure it could be tuned easily.

Comp is the only one ive ever heard about eating oil pump gears, but will have to call around on some stuff.
