What cam are you running?

I definitely want an 8.75 rear I just have to find one that hasn't been laying around in new england lol! I went to my machinist today and he suggested that I call up Isky (the guy that started the company over 60 years ago is still there!) He also said all cams are nitride hardened (the black color on the cam) so it's not only a Comp thing and that I should go with a 225° to
230° duration at .50 and the highest lift the duration will allow. I also learned that its the duration (and overlap) that affects idle quality and not the lift. I'm still taking everyone's suggestions and informantion

Yes, the overlap is what gives that cool "cammy" sound. Kind of a bummer since I am running a blower and need to use a cam with very little overlap. Hence, no "rumpity rump" for me. I will have to be content with that whine.
