Have not been here for some time. Mopar projects on the back burner, but I would like to add a comment. This is coming from a guy who has lived in 3 Western Canada provinces. Saskatchewan rules! I was born in Manitoba and growing up in the 60's and 70's, we imagined Saskatchewan to be our poorer cousin. How wrong could we be? Saskatchewan has oil and mineral wealth, a stable and effective provincial government and economy, great sunsets and the Riders! Direct comparison with BC would show that they may have the lowest income tax rate in Canada, but that is quickly offset by user fees. Try BC Health at a fee of $300 per month. So much for Canadian health care. Gas is about 10 cents a litre higher than anywhere else in Canada. Thank you, carbon tax. Property taxes are reasonable, bu the overheated real estate market in the lower mainland is threatening to take down the entire country. Prices are about triple for similar properties between Vancouver and Regina. Electricity is a bargain in BC as it is in Manitoba, but auto insurance is almost criminally overpriced. ICBC and MPI are the worst. In Saskatchewan, you can get a basic plate and liability for $134 for your 30 year or older classic vehicle.
