LTOP I would take a blown six over a Lopez cam anyday. Lol! Do you actually drive the car around town (can you?) I can imagine it at a car show and how much attention it gets. :)
Well, Moparchick, at this point the engine is currently being built on the stand while I try to get the car through DEQ ( smog emissions) with the stock engine. Once it passes, I get can get 2 years of smoggy-free use out of the car, or even apply for lifetime plates.
I have not yet settled on a cam, but am leaning toward having OCG grind one for me with around 470 lift, 220 @ .050 duration and 114 valve separation. The car is an orange 77 Volare. I can't wait to see that Hilborn injector scoop sticking through the hood!
