You should keep the brackets as well , that pump might not work with your Federal Mogul pump brackets , they tend to be specific to each other , the main difference being the lower rear mounting point on the Saginaw pump .
The brackets on this spare pump are way different than the ones on my '69 Barracuda. They don't look like they would work at all, but then you never know?? I'll have to look at it a little closer because I did compare them and the bracket closest to the block was basically flat on my Cuda where this other one has a major dog leg in the bracket.
