When i took algebra and physics in grade 10, 11, and 12, we were allowed to use calculators on some of the tests. On all tests we could use a slide rule though......

On the change deal, I've seen that confused look more often. And more "Here ya go." instead of counting it back to the bill you gave them. Then I realized how much debit cards are used to buy stuff, so the counting back part goes away. I've taken to complimenting kids (usually) who count it back right.
