Engine Removal - Why won't it slide out already.

Did you take out the torque converter bolts?

You have to remove the starter and trans dust shield to loosen it - 4 bolts.

Disconnect the headers also before pulling.

The ginormous starter has been dropped. Well, as far as I could drop it because it's captured within the headers. Damn Hooker headers!

You mean the lower bell housing inspection cover? I didn't think that would interfere, but I'll remove it. The headers have been unbolted from the heads.

Do I really need to remove the headers completely? Because if that's the case, at this point I'll cut them mother effers out!! LOL I'll have to disassemble part of the steering too if that's the case. Well, that's if I take them out in one piece.

Oh, no torque converter since it's a manual.
