Which one was quickest in 1972

1972 '440-6' Six-Pack and Six-Barrel

As early as June 1971, Mopar had planned to put the 440-6 'V-Code' in
both the 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye and 1972 Plymouth Road Runner/GTX.

Only '3' left the Factory with the 440-6 {330 HP rating for 1972} combination
before it was discontinued on August 7, 1971. These were all promotion 'only' cars,
and were not to be sold to the public.

These 440 Engines came thru with 10.3-1 Compression.

Below {June 1971} is the 'Promo/Photo Car', which is a Road Runner 440-6 with a 4-Speed.

The 440-6 'V-Code' cars were to be available to the public on September 5, 1971.

Below,

The Road Runner has yet to have the '440-6' decals and 'GTX' emblems installed on the body.

This 'proto-type' car {Red exterior, with Red interior} was never found.
